Heavy Chinese folklore which was great, but the actual storyline wasn’t any good. The romance side had very little chemistry. I found the love interest to be deeply ineffective and effeminate. I just wanted him to FIGHT. The twist at the end was no good. Super obvious and more annoying than anything.
