Review: Defend the Dawn

Honestly loved SO many things about this novel. First, I was SO TOUCHED by Harristan and Corrick. Their relationship was so endearing and touching. As they said goodbye to one another, I was genuinely crying.

Second, I’m FURIOUS with Allister and Cherry. Wtf are they both thinking?! I’m going to make a prediction that Allister doesn’t even know and say that that one chicks father is poisoning the whole damn country. It’s got to be in their water or something.

THEN let’s just talk about Tessa’s fucking betrayal. I get that Corrick is an asshole, but he had to make some shitty decisions. How was he supposed to know otherwise? She blames him for everything. Do screw her and screw Lochlan (though I have no doubt I’ll end up living Lochlan by the end of the next book). By the way, if Oren maims Corrick, I’ll be pissed.

So yeah. Obviously I loved it.
