This was SO interesting. The this fantasy novel the world has succumbed to a crippling economy where crime runs rampant, Gotham Style. On top of that, people have started to fall asleep and turn into their greatest fears (pterodactyls, giant spiders, monstrous cockroaches) and lose all inhibitions.

After being completely traumatized when her big sister turned into a massive spider that slowly killed her father and drank the marrow from his bones, the main character joins a cult that supposedly provides therapy for trauma victims. On a mail run, she meets a beautiful team who is a vampire and they find themselves in a series of situations that lead to a shocking discovery.
