I admit that at first I was more than a little confused about the dual narrative. It threw me off and I struggled to enjoy the characters. The more that was revealed, the more confused I became until Eliana and Simon’s narrative combined. I began to realize what exactly was happening and I felt drawn to the fate of all of the characters, thousands of years apart. Now I’m really interested in reading book 2!

All I need to know now…who is the prophet? Audric? (Too hopeful?)
