Really interesting dragon novel. Garrett is part of an elite group of soldiers that hunt and kill dragons and Ember is a 17 year old dragon. They both go undercover for their elite organizations and start to fall in love. Ember’s and her brother, Dante, are clearly slated for a high role in their organization and Dante is a strong believer in their dragon society, Talon.

But Riley, a rogue dragon, has a genuine connection with Ember as well. My predictions? I think Ember and Dante are the kids of the elder wyrm (greatest and oldest dragon), so even though Ember goes rogue, I think that she is precious to him. I think Dante will do horrible things, but eventually sacrifice himself for Ember. I think Riley is a dragon soulmate to Ember, but I think she’ll stay with Garrett because her human side will take over.
